Ok, I think I've browbeat DH into a short summer trip to Disney, I'm trying to treat my severe case of cabin fever after 40" snow the past few weeks.
We used to fly on USAir nonstop PIT to MCO. That ended in Dec 2008. Last summer we tried SW nonstop and hated it. DD7 got sick on the plane and the one FA was somewhat ignorant with us. Hated the cattle call.
So the other nonstop option is Air Tran. Any folks out there who prefer nonstop flights from PIT to MCO and have the flights been good experiences? I dont mind minor time changes, but was curious if nonstop flights are a hot ticket out of da 'burgh?

My name is Valerie.. Also from Altoona Pa.. Had to click on your post when I saw you where flying from Pittsburgh and low and behold.. Not only are you near me.. but you are probably within minutes of me.. lol.. Anway.. to answer your question. We last went to Disney in April of 2007. We flew non stop with Airtran out of Pitt and the experience was great. They allowed us to preboard due to my sons Autism and never blinked and eye at the request. The flight crew was friendly and the flight even arrived early. We are planning on flying a non stop out of Pitt to MCO again in October. If you look at the schedule I believe Flight 996 ( I thnk thats the number) is a daily Non Stop Flight to MCO it runs about the same time every day and has since we went in 2007. I think that gives you the best chance of them not changing the time of your flight ( I have heard Airtran does that but it didn't happen to us) . I figure since its the same flight number and time every day you would be good to count on it as a reliable flight time without worry of changes.
