Fly Fishing on the Colorado

My son in law would like to go fly fishing while we are visiting the Grand Canyon next year. Are there guides available? Are you on your own? Equipment rental? Any advice?

From the Grand Canyon to actually get to the Colorado River, you must either drive almost to Utah or take long overnight hike/mule ride into the canyon. Visit www.nps.gov/grca for more information.

Ya know, we are heading up to Yellowstone after Grand Canyon. I guess we could do that in between because we also wanted to take a float trip on the river also.

Lots of great fly fishing in the Jackson WY area in and around Teton National park as well as in Yellowstone.
