Fluid Chalk Ink Pads

I have a number of Fluid chalk ink pads in the cat's eye size. Should I buy re-inkers for the ones that drying out or just a whole new ink pad. The reinkers are $5?? A new ink pad is $1.65. Has anyone tried the re-inkers?
