hi, probably over reacting!! but have been reading on the theme park boards about the terrible flu outbreak, we have booked for next december and are now worried incase this happens every year, can anyone who has been in dec put our minds at rest, it takes so much saving and planning that we dont want to be sick whilst there, thanks for any help susie

Hi,

Just spent christmas and new year in orlando, althought our first week (18th -25th Dec) was freezing cold (we had to buy hats and gloves) we never saw anyone with a runny nose yet alone flu. We spoke to a few locals and they said that it was very unusual for the tempreatures to be that low. December 2004 should be nice and warm for you. Have a great time dont worry about things. We had a great time i hope you do.

PS try and avoid mk christmas day its packed

Hello suzie,

I was there a few years ago in december and the weather was perfect. High 70`s low 80`s most days.

The real difference was in the evening. quite cool and dark at about 5.00pm. I would advise on pool heating if in a villa.

The parks are very quiet and you can get around without to many lines. The exception to this when we were there was thanksgiving
and the xmas hols. We went to MGM on thanksgiving sunday and it was bursting at the seams. I must admit it was nice to see families enjoying themselves together over the holiday. I think we in the uk should take note. All we seem to do these days is go shopping. ( I am bitter working in retail).

Enjoy!!!!!!!!!!!!!
