Waiting for kids to wake up and take the dog to the sitter/kennel.
He goes to someone's house. Cost the same as the kennel

Good morning! Just checking in. We're going to my sister's house for a BBQ. I made some macaroni salad & a chocolate chip crumbcake. I do need to do some laundry this morning before we go.

I know, the job thing is nasty. I need something part time that will allow me to be home in the morning to get the kids off to school and then again in the afternoon when they get home. Plus I need week ends and holidays off, when they are out of school.

Gee, that's not asking too much is it? LOL

I'm thinking Target or something like that. Maybe a 10-2 shift. I dont' know. We'll see.

Damn I just missed you guys last night.I got tired and went to bed.


Beth a part time job at the school would probably be best. Maybe you can snag a job as a teachers aide or something that doesnt have to work on the "teacher work days".

I would definetly look hard into a school job. You won't have to worry about managing school holidays & the job. You'll be off when they are.

Sorry I missed you again! Michael and I went out driving. He got his permit the other day and its been raining every day since. today is sunny (so far) so we went driving. He did pretty well considering the 2 vehicles he had to choose from was a suburban (which he did not want to drive) and Davids F-150, which is smaller but not a lot smaller.

And I did better than I thought I would. I didnt nag him, just gave him a few tips.

I'm still around here and there. Ruben took the car into the shop to see what's wrong with it. Hopefully nothing too costly! So the girls are here with me, although 2 of them are still sound asleep.

Those are big vehicles to learn to drive on!! I guess if he can do okay with those though, then he can do okay with just about anything, lol.

Yeah, I always wanted one and we talked many times about buying one but now I'm glad we got this for free. Maybe I'll get used to it but for now it's kind of a PITA.

Now we don't have anyone to help us out since we don't know anyone here and Ruben and I would like to be able to have an occasional night out before the kids turn 18.

I use a separate optical mouse on my laptop. Just because it is quicker for me.

I have been using my laptop for so long now that I suck at typing on a reg key board.


Well the garage sale is over now and I am beat. Its a lot of work. Although my neighbor and I did agree that we were gonna have another at my house at the end of September.. My other neighbor said she would do one then too but this time we are doing it at my house.. I have a garage..
