Ok so I am pretty sure I am going with this wonderful Champange Color dress. The BM dresses that I have been looking at with it are a nice rich choclate brown. My Dilema come with flowers. I don't want the wedding to be too lacking in flowers and would like most of my color to come in the form of flowers....However I have no clue what flower colors are going to look the best!!!
Does anyone have any suggestions?? I know that the florist will have some but I'm too impatient to wait that long! lol
Thanks

I think preety much any color will go with champagne and chocolate brown. Rich pinks and pastel colors would compliment their dresses as well as the soft champagne color of your dress. You could even go with light blues.

You know, I'm having similar problems with my flowers...

My friends' dresses will be "Cinderella Blue" and I don't like red, pink or yellow floral scheme...so I'm actually thinking about going with all white hydrangeas or roses, or a mixture of white and blue hydrangeas...my bouquet will be all white stepanotis (I think!).

A similar scheme might work for you, but since you want all your color to come from your flowers, you might want to think about taking your cues from the season of your wedding.

Anyways, from surfing the knot boards (not posting, those gals can be pretty brutal), I discovered this website: www.lanielizabeth.com They are Californian floral designers, and their website has a very extensive gallery of photos. Great site to look on for ideas! Happy hunting!

I promise you that Disney Floral will blow you away (and will come within budget if you tell them what the budget is)...but I think your color scheme sounds awesome...I'm picturing a dark coral rose with pale peach flowers:)

I was actually wandering if a lot of "greens" lower the price of floral.

Being from the Northeast, one of my favorite parts of FLA is that its Green!! I have seen beautiful pics of centerpieces/bouquets that had lots of palm, mossy stuff and other tropical leaves n' such with maybe a few roses or lilies.

Does anyone know if it is cheaper this way? :confused3

Much...

I sent our floral designer a photo from the Knot or the Wedding Channel. SHe said becuase it was so full the centerpieces would run around $450. I said no way- add green and bring the price down. We wanted LOTS of green, too- initially our wedding colors were ivory, a light green, and peach (they chnaged becuase of the venue, etc). When I saw our mock-up, I was stunned. They were so beautiful. We added lots of "big" flowers in to give them our white- hydrangea, lillies, roses, etc. That way, they came in it $125/piece... much more manageable.

Thanks Jill - looking at your beautiful pics today rminded me that I wanted to ask that question!
Best of Both Worlds, flower style we want and its a better price :cool1:

Hi Nikki

I've got chocolate BM dresses too. The lady in the shop told me to go for the bright orange colours, I think i'm going to go with peach, I had my mind set on that colour before I picked the BM dresses.

Here are a few I like. The first one is my fav. (hope you don't mind Brittany, if your on here.)

Thank you everyone for your suggestions!

I really like the picture of the 3rd one! The dark rossie pink is beautiful.
I was afarid of everything looking to bland for a May wedding but Flowers should be a good way to brighten things up.

I have been thinking about have Whimiscal Wey do our flowers. DOes anyone know how much Disney charges for a set up fee?? It seems like they will be able to provide more flowers for a cheeper price....and what can I say....I like a good bargin.

Thanks! :flower3:

Nikki don't worry about things being to bland, your dress will look strinking against brown. My mothers main concern was it's going to be to dark for a September wedding (and hot) but once we saw the dresses on they looked fab.
I like picture 3 also, although I would say that!! Just go with what your drawn to. Peach has been my favourite since I started looking at flowers even before I had decided on a colour for a dress.

Two very hot and chic color schemes right now are pink and brown and light blue and brown. I think pink bouquets wrapped with brown satin ribbon would look gorgeous.

Also I think orange would look great as well.
