Flower Girls and the Bridal Shower

My two little girls are going to be my sister-in-laws flower girls at her wedding this October. They will be 3 and 5 by time the wedding comes. Her bridal shower is at the end of August and I would love for the girls to do something special for her. She just adores the girls, and I know it would make her day. I thought about reading that laundry poem, while the girls help up the items, but there must be something better out there. And I know I can throw this out there and get some great ideas from you. I am not looking for just a gift for them to give, but more like a presentation thing.

Are you hosting the shower? It might be fun to have the girls give her marital advice/their definition of a good wife. You could talk to them before so that they weren't caught off guard.

I am hosting the shower along with the bridal party and her mother, so it wouldn't be a problem for me to do whatever with the girls. Marital advice sounds cute, I wonder what they would say?

Exactly. I remember DD telling me I go to work and color all day so who knows. I would recommend having them go first if you have everyone give advice, otherwise, they might just repeat what others say. Make sure you write it down and scrapbook it for the girls and maybe even the bride-to-be. What a wonderful memory to look back on(hopefully).

Oh what a cute idea!!! I hope you don't mind me stealing it. My BFF is getting married soon, my girls aren't in the ceremony but they call her Aunt Carrie so they are coming to the shower. Anyway, I think they will love this!!
