Flower and Garden preview?

Hi everyone! I will be in Epcot on March 4th. Has anyone been there a couple days before Flower and Garden starts and could tell me if some of the flowers/character designs are up and available to see?

They will have most of the topiary characters installed and planted although they won’t be at their peak of color as the plants will be just getting established and need to mature a bit more for the full colorful effect. Likewise, most of the gardens will be planted and you will see the planting in progress with many workers still planting the garden beds. It will take awhile for those gardens to be at their peak.

We'll be there at the tail end of Flower and Garden, and we've never seen this particular festival. I'm sure Disney is diligent with maintaining the freshness of the flowers, but I'm wondering if they won't be on their way to being dead by the time we get there? Or will everything still he vibrant at the end of the festival?

They change the flowers out a few times during the festival, they don’t just keep the same ones out from beginning to end. The weather is much cooler at the start of the festival than it is at the end, so the same plants wouldn’t survive. I have visited near the end of the festival and even a few days after the end, and the plants looked good.
