Flower and Garden Festival

I am really excited that next year we will be at Disney for the first two days of the festival. Do they tend to have a soft opening like the Food and Wine festival does? Another question is do they have the Gardens of the World tour the first week, and if yes how soon can you book it? We have been at the Food and Wine a couple of times but could never time it right for the Flower and Garden. I assume they are somewhat similar?

The F&G festival has been extended and is now a whole 3 months long,it is pretty similar to Food and Wine as you'll find presentations,the festival center,concerts and Food booths.A couple of differences are that concerts are only Fri-Sun instead of every day.About 10 years ago they were daily but with the economy and since the festival being longer it meant booking like 25 acts so they sent weekends only.Another change is the increase of Food booths making it like Food and Wine lite.
