Flower and Garden Festival trip report

So glad this trip was ER visit free for everyone.
Loving the TR, that is the skinniest Mickey and the heaviest Tink I've ever seen.

:rotfl2: Was wondering if anyone would notice how big she is on the bottom!

I'm glad you got away with saying that because I sure couldn't. :rotfl2:

BTW the picture of the crab cake looks delicious. My HDL number went up 30 points just looking at it. :woohoo:

What a wonderful trip report, :thumbsup2:thumbsup2 I love your pics !
Several years ago Denise and I went to the Flower Fest. and it was very cool, we really enjoy'd it.

What a great trip report - thanks. You've taken alot of unique shots. We thought the Flower and Garden displays were really cool as always but it did seem like there wasn't as many as in previous years. It's been acouple of years since we came down during this time but I remember more flowers than we saw last week.

CC, stopped by your coach a couple of times but you were out and about. Saw your sign. Don't know where we went wrong, but it seems every time we request a loop (100) we end up further away. Had site 1116 this time. I think that was about as far away as one can possibly get from loop 100. Had great weather though. Maybe next time.

Finally got onto site 727. Great loop, terrible site … we barely fit … Had to overhang the trailer into the natural area several feet just to get the moho off the road. Couldn’t extend the awning all the way out because of a tree.

..

see this bothers me, for as much as you pay for these sites, they know the size of your rig when you make the res.

Im sorry Id have gone back to the front and said "we dont fit"

Hi! Just read all your posts. We stayed at FW for the first time in Nov/Dec 2010 and rented an RV and were at site 101. It was awesome! Now I know why there were no shirts or things with the FW logo on it! I wanted a shirt, even a mug with FW on it.

Then my friend Lisa (Lisard on the boards) arrived with her son Jack to tent camp for the night. Haven't seen her since November 2009, so the visit was really great!

I went to the Flower and Garden festival twice. The first time was in May of 2001 and it was awesome! The second was April 2010 and it was ok but not as nice as the first time. I still enjoy all the toparies though.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what leftover GAG stands for, can you help me. LOL

Your cheese app looked yummy for sure!

I love Epcot! Love all the pictures! Can't wait to see more.

Thank you!

What a great trip report - thanks. You've taken alot of unique shots.

Thank you too! I took a lot of standard shots, but I'm trying to post the more unique ones here. Don't want to bore you all.

Wow!!! What beautiful pictures! Loving your report.

Thank you! Glad I have a few readers!

Sorry we missed you!

Im sorry Id have gone back to the front and said "we dont fit"

After driving 620 miles in one day, we were just too tired. Besides, we take part of the blame. Not everyone pulls a 24' trailer behind the moho. If it weren't for it, the site would have been okay lengthwise. Not sure about the width. Disney says "all premium sites are 60' long." Well, in reality that's not the case. Some of them are much longer. We needed a longer one.

I'm having a hard time figuring out what leftover GAG stands for, can you help me.

GAG is Giddyup and Go. The first night we got it as a takeout at Trail's End. It's about enough food for 2 people to have three meals (provided one of you doesn't eat potatoes)!

Well I liked it. And you have nearly 1,000 view so far and thats pretty good to have been out for a few days. The view count indicates a high readership. On other boards no tr as yet have hit 1,000 views so you have the silent masses following your story.

I think you have a future as a food photographer myself.

I took several after dark blurry pix which I included in my tr. I can see the difference the tripod made in your nightime pix. Crisp and clear.

Thanks CC! :yay:

You mentioned the Country Bear thingy - in all my trips to WDW, I have never gone and seen it. Guess it's one of those things I've got to put on my list.

I'm impressed with your nighttime shots, they were so clear and crisp. Mine definitely never turn out like that, Kudos to you. Thanks for taking the time to write your TR, I've enjoyed it.

I've been reading along, some of us are just really shy and don't feel like we are witty or funny so don't post much.

I really enjoyed your report and photos and if you have more I, for one, would like to see them.
