I have two questions. #1) Has anyone ever had a problem getting the sitting times they have wanted for their child on the Magic? #2) Also, how do they charge the time for sitting? For example, if we had our son stay in the nursery during dinner, took him with us for the show and then had him go back for us to go to one of the clubs for an hour or so. Do they charge a daily/weekly cumulative amount or is it a strict, "at least two hours" block charge as I have seen listed places? Thanks!

Flounders charges a minimum of 2 hours per child and then every 15 minutes after that. They discourage doing exactly what you're planning on doing though. If you sign up for 5 hours, and then only use 4 hours, you're still charged what you sign up for, not what you use. When we used Flounders, we signed up for 3 hours for 3 nights, and we only used between 2 and 2 1/2 hours each night, but were still charged the full 3 hours. They also don't like you to sign in/out your child. Once you're signed out, you're signed out for the night, there isn't additional space on the signin/out sheet for multiple drop offs and pick ups, it would be treated like two separate reservations. Considering you're only allowed to sign up for 3 times at first, a waste of your 3 times IMO.

The wait staff is very good at entertaining little ones. Of course they have a job to do and other tables, so cannot "babysit" but they will pay particular attention to the small set. Depending on how old yours is, they have crayons and coloring pages to help keep them occupied during dinner.
