Floss, water pik, or both??

which do you do? I just got a water pik, and besides soaking the bathroom and myself and anyone else in the room, I like it. I got a cordless one, that I'll use in the shower (so no more soaking the bathroom), once I get a shower mirror.

I don't have a water pik, but an elecrtic/sonic type brush. I floss daily..sometimes 2x's. Too funny on the water works, lol...never thought about that.

yea, I'm guess it takes a bit of getting used to - my dd11 was yelling at me the other night "mom, you're getting me all wet" - she was 5' away from me. LOL!

I read an article that water piking is better than flossing, but who knows...

I have the Hydrofloss, which is a really expensive version of the water-pik but supposedly better. My dentist recommends adding Listerine to the reservoir (you can do this with your water pik as well). After using the Sonicare toothbrush, then the hydrofloss with Listerine, my mouth feels so clean!! Good gum reports back from the dentist as well. GL!!!

Soniccare, Floss then ACT! Mouth Rinse for 2 minutes.

Everything I have read says a water pic does not take the place of flossing so I do all 3: Floss, Waterpik (I have a cordless one also) and a Sonicare.

For years I only flossed the night before a dentist visit. Now I shoot for 2 x a day and always get it done once.

I floss, waterpik and use the sonicare too! I've found out that now that I am used to the waterpik, it drives me crazy if I even try and skip a day.
