All I have to do is watch the past two Auburn/Florida games to be enlightened and entertained. The rest is just, well, boring.

Ok, I have us set up for $63 a night total group rate for MDW. She will mail me the contract next week and I have until the 22nd to send it in. Each party will be responsible for calling once there is a ressie number and paying for 1 night. I think CLKelly is now on the list too.

More good news is she can get us this same rate for the 4th of July. It's only full hookup but hey, I say instead of $80 a night we do this. I'm sure the one's who want a premium could get it at a higher rate if you really have to have that much more space.

I think we might have finally found a good CM who can help on the holiday rates.

Thats great thanks Donnie, I think we will book for July 4th also.
I am hoping that we can do as much as we want this summer.
My job is secure, but they are talking 20% paycuts and no paid vaction.
My DH company is not making any money so I don't know how we are going to do much extra.
But we are in for MDW.
I agree Jen, I would love to go other place if we can.
I looked up the rates @ Rock Crusher and they are $32 a night. Only problem with that is it is hot in the summer, but so is the ft.
The Elite campsite in Sliver Springs is also not expensive, I like to go on 3 days weekends because of the drive but, it is a nice CG in the middle of nowhere, its about 30 miles out of Ocala

I wonder if they will transfer my ressie. I have a feeling they won't and I will have to cancel and get a refund and then book a new group ressie. Then they will screw up the group ressies and I will be up the creek without a ressie.

Just in case you misunderstood me I am in for the ft MDW.
I was talking about looking into other places for other times, if we can get group rates for the major weekends I am all for going to the ft.
We also use Passport America for discounts at other Campgrounds, I know the one in Crystal River did take it so some weekends (not holidays) we could stay for $22.50 a night. I will look up and see it there are any central located cg that are good on it.

We are in Donnie. Just make sure the loop has TV. My grandkids will probably be coming with us and I need TV to keep them occupied for 5 min at a time.
