We just returned from a 10 night stay at Floridays resort. We really liked it for our family of 6 plus grandma & grandpa which made 8. We had 3 bedrooms, 2 baths, kitchen, screened in deck overlooking a pond with a water fountain. The Master had a wonerful jacuzzi tub and a king size bed that was sooo comfortable.

There was a really nice pool with water fountains for the kids to play in, and a hot tub.
There was an outdoor bar, restaurant area that was nice and even some live music.
The staff was great, they cleaned & stocked our rooms daily and attended to every request that we had.
It was only a short 10 minute drive to the Magic Kingdom, and there was a grocery store right around the corner.
I highly recommend it to those who have a big family and need larger accomodations.:cloud9:

Glad you enjoyed your stay. We have booked a last minute trip and will arrive tomorrow. We hope to love it as much as your family did!

I hope everything goes well and you have a great trip, if you have any questions please ask, we were there for 10 days and just returned last week.:)

Hi, I'm so glad you posted. I've considered the Floridays twice but chose Marriott's Horizons instead-mainly for the pool. I've been reading that Floridays was putting in a new pool area with water slide etc. Has that opened? Please tell me anything you can about the pool area or the resort. I'm familiar with the location as it is close to Horizons and I agree that the commute to the parks is great. I'm again considering the Floridays and it is half the price of Horizons on the week I'd like to go. The rooms look great. We'd be a group of 6 with kids 5 to 11 and nana. Do the buildings have elevators? Which buildings are near the pool? Thanks for any info!

I had heard about a water park area but we never saw one, there is a big area where they are working on something, maybe that is the water park, I never asked. It looked like it was only getting started though when we went in November. The family pool area has several water fountains that spray water for the kids to play in in the shallow side of the pool. It was fun for my 3 year old.
We were on the ground floor so I never checked about elevators but I am pretty sure they do. It is a really nice place and the staff is very friendly. You may want to request a building that is close to the Lobby/pool area because some are a bit away but they have little golf carts that will give you a ride if you want one. We stayed in bldg. D and it was a short walk to the pool, not bad at all. I hope this helps, but I would call if I were you about the water park area maybe we missed it somehow because I read reviews about it being almost completed and it didn't look that way at all. You can PM me if you have any other specific questions and I'll try to answer them.:)
