Florida Vegas & California 4

Our cousin came down from Echo Park area of LA to visit us, with his dog, and went to the beach

next day we went to griffin park, Hollywood Blvd, and santa Monica beach

end of route 66

Saw a pink Dog

We where supposed to go to Huntington beach, to see Weezer playing , around 5pm, but did not get back to Long Beach till 7pm, and there was a FunkFest on in Pine Ave, so watched it, and then had dinner

Did not do much the last day, went to Long Beach Aquarium, spent a few hours there before going to airport.
hopefully give you an idea of our vacation, as i am not good at trip reports, so need to decide on our vacation next year which will be Florida, and start deciding what we are doing.

You gotta love LA and the multi colored pets. Not a big fan of California, but usually you can come back with some interesting stories when you go.

Some very interesting people in LA, but to much driving to get anywhere, although loved the desert area we where staying in.
But back to Florida and Universal, just waiting on flight prices being released

Tell Lily: the pic of her & Marilyn's star is a very 'touristy' lookin pix. Hope ya didn't get too many weird looks. I don't remember seeing hers at Universal...is Marilyn's there?

Are you planning JUST Fla/Universal next year...or going to Don C or somewhere else? Cousins coming to you next time?

Hi Again, not sure if she has a star at Universal, took this at Hollywood Blvd, was disappointed with it, not a nice place, but definetly worth seeing.
Yeah, everbody said , she should be took up for animal cruelty with the Pink Dog, but then its LA, and think they all are looking attention.
Yeah going to Universal, probably DonC, was looking for somewhere nearer Madeira Beach, but the deal for early booking at The Don is $160, which is looking good, if i can get flights booked.
We invited them, but they have been to Ireland, and do not think they where impressed, quite cool lots of rain, and nothing like whats on offer in The US or California, but the offer is there, for all of them and their families.

What a fantastic trip that was

I really enjoyed it and what lovely pictures there are. I would love to go to California and Vegas.....maybe one day.

Thanks Cxarole, just looking for flight prices to Florida for next year, as we are not planning Vegas till the year after, but some good prices for Flying into Vegas and out of LAX for next summer, from Dublin.
Seems if i put flying from Belfast or UK airports for the same dates they are way to expensive, even though the transatlantic flight would be the same one from Dublin
