Me: Sue 43 Born Worrier and Trip Leader.
DD: Vicki 15 2nd In Command, But the Real Leader according to her.
We thought we would spend today at Magic Kingdom as it was EMH in the morning and we wanted to have another go at cracking the big score on Buzz, we arrived really early and went straight in, the park was very very quiet, so we popped into Exposition Hall and took photos before walking down Main Street and having a last look at the beautiful castle. We then went over to Tomorrow Land where we rode Space Mountain twice and had a photo taken with some of the characters who were around including Stitch. We had 2 go's on Buzz and I am getting better at getting higher scores. Vicki then wanted a go on The Indy Car ride,although Im not keen on this I queued up and had a go. We then walked over to Toontown Fair which was just about to open so we thought as there were only 2 or 3 families there we would wait.

We were stood right by the rope and we could see the characters and their minders walking towards us, we started waving at them and one of the ladies came up to Vicki and asked her if she would like to escort Eeyore into Toontown fair and into the Hall of fame, well she didnt need asking twice as Eeyore put is arm through Vickis and off we trotted with other familes escorting other characters. Well I have to say this was the highlight of the holiday for us, I really dont think it matters what age you are, you can not help but be delighted with the interaction that was going on between the characters and the kids.
Tigger was his usual naughty self and kept trying to push Eeyore over. When we arrived at the hall, Tigger noticed that Vicki had a Tigger tshirt on and kept playing with her hair and generally messing around, it was really good fun.
After loads of photos with the characters and the princessess, we made our way over to Fantasyland where we rode Winnie the Pooh, Peter Pan and its a Small world. We picked up some french fries from the Mc Donalds stall and walked over to Liberty Square, where we had a cooling half hour in The Hall Of Presidents, I really like this, its a lovely cool place just to catch your breath for a while and I really like the show.
We then headed over to Frontierland and caught the raft over to Tom Sawyers Island which was great. We had a look at the caves and it was a lovely little place to visit. We ended our day in Adventure Land where we rode POC which as always was fantastic and then the Jungle Cruise to end. I do think this ride could do with a little updating now.
As it was now mid afternoon, we caught the bus back to the pop, had a little rest and got the bus to Epcot but walked striaght the way through to international gateway where we decided to rent a surrey bike. Well I have to say I have never laughed so much in all my life. Starting off was no problem but towards the end of the first lap are two not so easy to manage hills, well I just knew halfway up that we were not going to make it, so on went the breaks, Vic jumps off and starts pushing, well you wouldnt expect me to do it at my age would you!!!! lol
After laughing so much my sides were aching, Vic out of puff jumps back on and we decide that we have time to do another lap, now Im not looking forward to that hill again, but we give it ago, all the way around taking it easy to allow us the energy to get over that dam hill, after a while we can see it fast approaching, so muster up all the energy we have and with great gusto, dertermined to make it, we give it some wellie. Peddling like mad we start off in fine fettle, only to run out of steam halfway over and dangerously start going backwards much quicker than we ever could have gone forwards, Once again, I slam on the breaks, giving Vicki the eye that now maybe a good time to jump off and push before the whole surrey bike topples backwards taking us with it. Just then 2 fantastic cast members approach and offer to push us, which we accept with many thanks, only then to be overtaken by 2 tiny, grey haired ladies who were oap's and showing us how it should be done. Oh the Shame!!!!.
Throughly exhausted we head back to the POP where we have a bite to eat and spend a relaxing night by the pool.
Fall asleep tonight dreaming of 2 little oap's chasing me up the hill on a surrey bike.

I too would have liked to have seen the surrey bike incident. I've always wanted to do the Toontown opening with the characters, looks like Vicki had a good time,
now how embarrassing is that????
