Me: Sue 43 Born Worrier and Trip Leader.
DD: Vicki 15 2nd In Command, But the Real Leader according to her.
Today started with a very dissapointing phone call from Andy's(verandah man) mum Vi, we had met up with them at the very beginning of the holidays and was hoping to spend a bit more time with Vi who only lives just over an hour away, but it was not to be as her car had broken down and was still in the garage and would not be fixed until after we had left. So we said our goodbyes and promised to keep in touch, which we have. Vi if you do read this I hope to see you in November.
Today we decided to go back to our favorite park Epcot, we arrived quite early after breakfast and went and had another look at out leave a legacy tile. We then went straight over to get fastpasses for Soarin, as this is fast becoming our favorite ride.
Vicki wanted to go on Mission Space, so off she went in the single line queue, whilst I stayed in the area at the exit. This is one ride that I would so like to try just to say that I have done it, But I am absolutly terrifed of how it would make me feel. Vicki loves it though and the park is so quiet today that she is out in no time asking if she can go back through, as I am now quite settled playing some sort of space station game with people from all around the world,I tell her to go ahead.
We then make our way into Innovations East and West which I love, we send a couple of Video Emails home to the folks and have another look at the house of the future.
Its now time for our fastpass for Soarin and woo hoo we are in the top row again, which I think is the better row, its great when you can view this ride without peoples feet dangling in front of you.
As its now time for lunch we head over to the World Showcase to pick up fish and chips from Harrys and spend a very pleasent hour sat in the gardens by Harrys watching the world go by.
We take a leisurly stroll around the other nations, stopping in Italy as always to listen to Sarah Brightman blasting out on the speakers, one of my favorite songs, "Time To Say Goodbye" and then to Norway to ride Maelstrom.
As its now nearly 5pm we decide to go back to the hotel get changed and go to DTD to get an Ice Cream from Ghirardelli's.We had signed up to their website before we came away and had vouchers for buy 1 get 1 free, so we thought it would be rude not to.
When we got back to our room there was a message on the telephone from Karen who was now staying at Saratoga Springs, telling us all about her room and seeing if we wanted to meet up on our last night at DTD for a sandwich and a drink. They were out when I rang back, so made a note to do it when we got in later.
Got the bus to DTD and then went into Ghirardellis and spent about 20 mins deciding what to have, lol, in the end I went for a Banana Ice Cream Float and Vicki had a Chocolate Brownie Sundea. My goodness they were huge and absolutly fantastic.
We made our way back to the pop, where after phoning Karen and making arrangements for the last night, we went and played cards by the pool, until 12 midnight.
Fell asleep dreaming of Giant Icecreams zzzzzzz
