Me: Sue 43 Born Worrier and Trip Leader.
DD: Vicki 15 2nd In Command, But the Real Leader according to her.
Today we awoke at about 9am, had breakfast over at the food court then decided to spend the day at Typhoon Lagoon , our favorite waterpark.
Got the bus around 10am, found a couple of beds and headed straight over to Crush and Gusher , where we picked up more than one or two brusies on the bottom, but oh my!! what great fun this was. We then went into the pool itself and had great fun waiting for the boom of the big wave, Im not kidding you Im like a kid in a sweetshop when I hear that boom and jump up and down whooping in excitment whilst Vicki gently swims away pretending not to know me.
After a spot of lunch from Leaning Plams, Burgers and Chips I believe, we spend a lovely time floating around Castaway Creek, lovely that is until somebody up on the side squirts you with those freezing cold water sprays lol.
After riding Humunga Kowabuga, and Mayday falls, which is hair raising to say the least, we have another hour back in in the surf pool, me acting like a six year old all over again, well it is Disney where else can you act like this at 43 and get away with it.
We make our way back to the hotel at about 4.30, extremly tired but having had agreat day.
Eat in our room tonight and I was determined to have something from the Chinese section and attempt to eat it with chopsticks, so I ordered the Shrimp noodles which came in a box, complete with soy sauce and Chopsticks,well it took me about 15 mins to get the hang of it, well at least to manage to pick out one shrimp by which time my food was cold, but I gave it a go, much to the amusment of Vicki who was tucking into a great looking hotdog which you could eat quite easily with your fingers, and by the way it was awful so I went back and got some cheesy fries instead,lol.
Spent an hour sitting by the pool with a large Vodka and Diet Coke and Vicki with her Nintendogs. Went to bed around 11pm after watching a bit of TV.
Fell asleep dreaming of eating noodles whilst surfing the wave pool.zzzzzzz
