FLORIDA resorts recomendations

want a book a Florida beach vaca next April for my 15th anniversary. Haven't been away without kids in a while. Only places in Florida we have been is Disney and key west. Anyone stay anywhere cool on beach anywhere in Florida that was enjoyable for a long weekend?

depends upon what you want - Gulf or Ocean - Ocean there is St Augustine (oldest town in US), Coca Beach, Daytona, - my neighbors like New Smyrna Beach -

if Gulf - then Clearwater Beach is nice,

now both places are fairly close to WDW - if you want something closer to Georgia or Ala - then would look at the Panhandle - Panama City Beach, Pensacola, Destin, Fort Walton Beach.
