Florida Residents: Discover Disney Ticket Offer might be back

My trip isn't till June, so I'm good with waiting. Hoping you hear something soon. Are you just going to book your FPs once you get there? I've heard many success stories of it being done that way.!

Yes, it was a last minute decision for my sister's birthday. It's a two day Princess meet and greet intensive trip for just 2 so we shouldn't have too much trouble with FP.

Does this mean this is the focus of your trip? That sounds like SO much fun! Make sure you've got the MDE app on your phone. You can locate all the princesses on it and be there about 10-15 minutes before their greets in EPCOT to avoid long lines. Definitely FP the one in MK!

YES! I've never done an adult only trip and I'm very excited. I'm definitely focusing on FP for MK at the Princess Fairytale Hall!

How exciting! I am THRILLED that my 11 year old son wants to meet the Princesses! He really likes Jasmine and Ariel. I've got my favorites too! Now that I know about the character function on the MDE app, I can't wait to use it. Just hope while we are in Disney, it doesn't crash on me. Heard some horror stories about people not being able to access their MDE account while in the parks. Lots of those people were Apple....I have Android, so crossing my fingers!

Check back in to let us know if you were ever able to get the FL resident discount added to your trip days! GOOD LUCK!

It's here! ::throws confetti::

These are pre-tax prices.

3-Day: $175
With Hopper: $207.50
With Hopper Plus: $232.50

4 Day: $195
With Hopper: $232.50
With Hopper Plus: $257.50

I can't link it, but it's top of the special offers page.

And looking further, I'm wondering is this may be the last year for Discover Disney as these aren't THAT much of a discount from the normal "pick a day" pricing calendar. 4 days with hopper is something like $262 for end of January. DDisney is $232. Wondering if they are just trying to phase it out. When I started with the DDisney tickets, they were $99 for 4 days, and that wasn't too many years ago... 5-6 years maybe. It's steadily come up every year and for lower crowd times of the year there isn't that great of a difference anymore with the new pricing calendar they've started. So, enjoy it while it lasts if this is it's final leg.

The Florida Resident option is gone. I'm not able to see FL resident rates. Am I missing something? :confused3

Nevermind....the weirdest thing! In my Chrome browser, I can't see it. I go to Mozilla and there it is! I can also see the FL ressie rates in the Incognito browser.

I have the weirdest issues with WDW's site in Chrome. I'll signin and go to "my plans" and it will say it can't retrieve my plans right now, so I have to delete all my cookies and cached stuff and then magically it will work again for another week or so. I can't explain it either.

The DIS has it up on their news!

I was just coming out to let you know it was live! :)
Still can't provide a link, though. :(

Correct me if I'm wrong, but is the big difference being able to spread the days out over the 6 months? I'd rather prices stayed lower too, but that's a perk, imho! :)

This same thing happens to me in Chrome.

We better get our deals now because when Galaxy's Edge arrives they may not do anymore.

Disney would prefer to not offer any discounts at all, ever. However, they also need to keep the parks and resorts full and Florida residents are a big chunk of doing that.

While Galaxy's Edge will draw big crowds, the economy will also play a huge factor in what they can charge.

That's true, but if anybody can find a way to make money it's Disney. They have people just sitting in a room coming up with ideas.
