I have a few things I am confused about that I need help clearing up.

We are going to disney feb 10-12, I booked POR at the Fl res. rate. I have never thought about the dining plan before, so I don't know too much about it. When we booked our room, the CM told my hubby that the plan is not worth it for Florida residents.....opinions. I gues that you have to give up you room rate in order to get the plan? And you have to buy a 1 day ticket for each person also?

For you seasoned Florida residents, I would love some input. We were planning on getting the 3 day play pass and using it later upgrade to an annual.

Do you buy the one day and give up the discount for the plan ever? Is it worth it? Or just get the room rate and purchase your own meals without the plan?

Just not sure if it is worth it Thank so much for the input!

I'm a resident, seasonal annual passholder. I wouldn't do DDP for a regular trip but both last year and this year I'm doing free dining. It's worth it for the free food to pay rack rate during value season. I use my 1 day base ticket that I have to buy when it's time to renew my AP.

I'm going to Disney for ESPN weekend and I'm not doing DDP. I'm on a discounted room.

Okay, it seemed like it may not be worth it unless it was free dining. Maybe they will come out with it this year and we will take advantage of it then.

Thanks for the info~
