Florida Resident Question?

I know that you can get a 3-4 day ticket for florida residents, but can you get a whole vacation package like: Hotel+Park Tickets+Dining Plan for a discount, or could you get a 6 day ticket?

We are florida residents but we live in Tallahassee, so we are still no where near Disney World and need a place to stay? Or would it be cheaper to get a 6 day park ticket discount and stay offsite?

Also when they say Florida Residents to they mean the whole state or just orlando residents? Because I live in Tallahassee, does this still count? I sure do hope so?

Anyone else here is a florida resident but lives far away from WDW?

Sorry I can't advise you on packages, as when we go to WDW, we book room-only (when discounts are available), use the Tables in Wonderland card for discounts on dining and we have Florida Weekday Select Annual passes. That's what works best for us, because we go at least twice a year. I think you would be wise to do some research and decide what the best options are for you, because packages don't always work out the best for everyone's needs.

The discount applies to the whole state.

You can get a discount if you book a package but it will likely be only on the room portion.

Personally I'd pick up the special 4 day ticket they have right now and book the Florida resident discount on the room and forgo dining.

If your planning go hop or be back even for one day after your trip I would look into the FL resident passes. Weekday Select, Seasonal, Premium.

Also you can pay monthly(no interest) if you don't want to pay all at once. Were FL residents with Seasonal Passes works great for us, as we never want to go on the dates Disney blacks out anyway.
