Florida Resident Discount

We are planning to go to Disney in August and my parents who are Florida residents are planning on meeting us there.

I know that my parents can book two rooms using the Florida discount, one for them and one for my family.

I know there is a DDE card, does this card identify the owner? Can my parent let me borrow it if my wife and I want to go to dinner by ourselves?

But I am trying to find out.....

What admission ticket discounts are there for Florida residents, if any?

And if there are any, can they buy tickets for us?

Lastly, if you don't book a package, can you purchase the dining option with the magic your way ticket?

That is provided there are discounts offered for that period. Also, all check-ins will have to be together and there might be a problem using different credit cards.

When they apply for the DDE cards, they actually wil get two cards. The last names of the two card holders do not need to be the same. Maybe one with your father's name on it and the other with your wife's.

If you go to Allearsnet there is a complete list of all ticket prices. The Florida Resident prices start about 1/4 of the way down the page and are clearly marked. Note those prices include tax while Disney always quotes ticket prices without tax.

No, they cannot buy them for you as you will have to show proof of residence at your first use.

Lastly, if you don't book a package, can you purchase the dining option with the magic your way ticket?

Normally when you buy a package it must include undiscounted room, MYW passes and dining.

when they sign up for dde they get two cards, you can have them put one in your name and one in there's

When they use the DDE card they will be asked for proof of FL residency or AP with name that matches that on DDE.
