If you're a FL resident, have you considered the FL Resident Seasonal Pass? It's in the neighborhood of $200 and allows you access to all the parks for a year except during peak times (Spring break, Christmas and most of the summer). This is also considered an AP so you get the advantages associated with an AP.
I don't like the 3-day pass. Unlike previous 4-day passes these aren't park hoppers, if you want to park hop its around $165. I was going to buy the 3-day and upgrade it later to my usual seasonal pass later but when I found out I couldn't park hop I just went with the seasonal pass. Its about $225 for adult passes ($190 for kids 3-9) but so worth it. Once you buy it you don't have to worry about tickets for a year. We go about 4-6 times a year.
