Florida Rate Available For Georgia Residents! WOWZERS! I just called and got reservations at the Hard Rock Hotel for 179.00 for April 30th. They rep said georgia residents can currently get the florida rate. I questioned it at first but even my mailing address on the confirmation is a GA address so it must be so. Hip Hip Horray. Thats the best deal i have seen for the hard rock. I have only stayed at the Royal Pacific. Cant wait for 2 days at disney and then 5 more at disney!

They used to offer that but as of 1-1-08 that was stopped... I just called and checked (2-6-08). They say that the 179.00 rate is not available on 4-30-08 so they don't know what rate was given. If you booked online and show up you must have a valid fl. id or you will be chared a higher rate.

Rates can change over two days. Just make sure you have your email confirmation.

Ok Almighty. Actually I booked this through universal vacations. I called tonight directly to the hard rock front desk and they said Yes this is a current promotion but there is a limited number of rooms available each night. He even verified my GA mailing address on the reservation. My email confirmation even has my Georgia address on it. Even the Credit Card I paid in full with is a GA mailing address. He even said he would note on my reservation that I called to check and not to worry about any problems. Looks like maybe you just need to do some digging just like getting a disney code. You know last year I stayed at universal I made a complaint about the tranportation to sea world and discovery cove and they paid my cab fair for 4trips that visit. I just took the receipts to the guest services desk at IOA and they gave me cash. Its amazing the things you can get if you just keep asking.

If you call Universal Orlando directly you will be told what I was told... but just to let you know I just came back from the Hard Rock and got a King Suite Rm: 1100 for the price of a regular room. I know how to get mine also!!!

Ha Ha. Sorry to sound so grumpy. Im really a nice guy. It just gets frustrating when someone doubts you. Good job on getting the upgrade. Now if only I can get them to let me use my loews card to get my welcome gift. HaHa. Im working on it.

Florida residents' rate is not eligible for welcome gift or upgrades or qualifying points. Also, vacations booked through Universal Vacations are considered third party booking and are not eligible either. The annual pass rate for your date is $159, an even better deal.
