I've got this vague memory that Florida law doesn't allow timeshares to be sold until they are actually available. But since they seem to be selling Kidani units already, I must be misunderstanding.

Can somebody explain what the rules are - and how they would apply to (an entirely hypothetical :rolleyes: ) DVC CR addition.

I'm not sure the exact rule but it's based on the anticipated certificate of occupancy and what % of that portion of the resort is completed. I've heard 75% is required but wouldn't know for certain. I can tell you for fact there's no requirement to be ready at the time of the sale.
 
I am not sure on the laws, though I would be interested on what they are.

I bought Beach Club before it opened and I bought Animal Kingdom before it's finished.
