Florida Dream Homes?

Still searching. I sent an email inquiry to Florida Dream Homes. Has anyone every used them?

Is this one of the companies that you don't know what you are getting until you arrive at the door?

Any comments appreciated.

I don't have any experience with them, but if you're waiting and waiting for a response, that's not a good sign.

We always use www.villadirect.com You get to see the exact home you're renting and they have great prices.

www.allstarvacationhomes.com is great too, although a little pricier than Villa Direct.

Florida dream homes and AAAdream homes are the same company. They have several different rental agents and websites. We used them last year. Condos and homes are booked sight unseen.

I booked at 3 bd/2ba condo at Windsor Palms. We got an upgrade to a townhouse. We got to the townhouse and were very pleased until we realized the place hadn't been cleaned!! We called and they offered us a house or we could stay at the townhouse and they would send someone out to clean it the next day. I wasn't about to sleep in a dirty bed so we took the house.

It was now 9 pm and we were exhausted. We had spent the last two days driving from Maine. We had to go back to the Dream Homes office, pick up the new key, and drive back down 192 to the Indian Pointe subdivision off of Poinciana Blvd and try and find the house. We finally found it and fell into bed around 11pm. The house was ok. It needed new furniture but it was clean. It also was a lot further away from the parks than Windsor Palms.

If I had to do it all over again rent directly from the owner or at least a management company who shows you the house you're renting. Here's the website I used when I booked last year www.aaadreamhomes.com
