I'm leaving in a few days, and having read about the Florida Blue Medicare Lounge I was looking forward to visiting it.
I haven't heard or read anything about it or making a reservation for it.
Is there some news I missed?
Thanks.

I believe it's going to be in the Restaurant Marrakesh location. The Moroccan government stopped independtly operating the Moroccan pavilion in 2020, so that may have impacted the operation of that restaurant. Having the lounge there is a way to use the space in lieu of a restaurant.

The Florida Blue Medicare promotions at Epcot are supposed to start September 3. I think it's kind of late to announce the Lounge and how to get a reservation.

It is only for members of Florida Blue medicare plans. How many Disney visitors will be members? I doubt it will be that many so it is kind of a stupid idea.
My impression was that anybody could get in; it was to promote the brand.

Perhaps someone who is at Epcot can inquire and let the rest of us know. I will be there in Oct and having another lounge in the World Showcase area would be really nice. Years ago Chase hosted one during Food & Wine.

Thanks. I stand corrected! And sit disappointed. I'll just have to be satisfied with the DVC Members Lounge.
Maybe you can start a "won't you be my blue friend" thread and have mini meet and greets.

It does look nice....just for all those chairs.....

You were right Carl. The Florida Blue Lounge was open to everyone, not just Florida Blue members.

You did need to sign up on the Florida Blue website for a guest pass. I'm going to guess it will be the same this year.

Tom from Disney Tourist Blog wrote about it last year. He describes the steps to get a guest pass about halfway through the article.

Just so everyone is aware, this is posted on the sign up page:
By providing the information above and clicking the Submit button, you consent to receive marketing and sales calls and emails, at the contact information you provide, from Florida Blue, its affiliates, and agents, including licensed insurance agents, related to health insurance or other plans and products, including calls made using automated technologies and regardless of whether the number is listed on a national or state Do Not Call registry, and without regard to state or federal limitations on the frequency of calls or messages.
