Floor Preference at Poly

We have a LVC room booked for next April. When securing our reservation, I asked our TA to note we would prefer 1st floor. I was thinking it would be pretty cool to walk out onto the beach. However, I'm wondering if 3rd floor would be better for the view.

If you've stayed in Hawaii, which floor do you prefer?

For us, the worst case would be 2nd floor and not having a patio or balcony.

Thoughts?

we have stayed on all three floors, and our favorite was the first floor for the reason you gave. walked out right to the beach. so convenient. view from third floor was better, but not much,

The only request I made on our trip was "not ground floor". I got ground floor.

It turned out to be okay because the kids basically had a backyard to run around in whenever we were at the room. They liked chasing the lizards.

Isn't that just the BEST?! My children LOVED running in that "carpet" grass, catching lizards and running down to the beach to make sand castles and lay on hammocks. We were so spoiled and always, ALWAYS request ground floor now.

Thanks so much for the replies. I think the ground floor sounds best for us as well. However, we are definitely keeping an open mind. We won't be disappointed with anything. It all looks amazing!

I prefer the third floor because it offers more privacy than the first floor. And I agree with you that a balcony/patio is a must.
