those asian girls taking pictures of parker reminds me of when we went to hawaii when i was 9. me and my sister, who was 2 at the time, were playing on the beach and there were some people from japan there (there are more japanese people than americans there, it seems like). they were taking pictures of us playing in the sand and my stepmom was saying that her little girls were gonna be in some japanese guy's family album!

DH and I are going to try to line up our adults-only trip next year during the ESPN weekend. We'd love to stay at the Boardwalk and hang out with Mike and Mike in the morning. Could be WAY cool!!

So true Dawn!! When I lived over there, I was the minority!! It' such a diverse place.those asian girls taking pictures of parker reminds me of when we went to hawaii when i was 9. me and my sister, who was 2 at the time, were playing on the beach and there were some people from japan there (there are more japanese people than americans there, it seems like). they were taking pictures of us playing in the sand and my stepmom was saying that her little girls were gonna be in some japanese guy's family album!

i have always had a sony camera, mine is sony cybershot i think, 8 megapixel...i really like it alot

Chapter 29. I cause a Mickey Speeding Ticket
After we leave BW, we head over to BC area,
the sun was starting to set and we had a great view on the bridge.
there pool looks so cool, next time i am wearing my bathing suit and going swimming in it. then eating the kitchen sink.
we walk into the main building to see some decorations
some decorations in the lobby
now i always get confused i dont know if we were in the yatch or the beach club section, i think the other part had another ginger bread thing but i am not sure.
but they had a train and trains are cool
then we walked out front and got on a bus to the MK, we wanted to show melissa the MK area since we were not going there the next day.
it was a nice ride over and she of course had to get a picture as close as she could to being in the park without being in the park.
and then we continued on to the monorail resort side.
her first monorail ride,
we went to the counter service area for dinner, we did have reservations for chef mickeys, b ut opted out of them, we did not want to take that long to eat tonight, it was already getting late and did not want to have parker get tired and have to leave early since we still had a ways to get back to our resort.
so we went to the counter service.
it was a pretty good meal, the only thing i did not like about it, was that we tried to order a pizza and he said we had to get that delivered to the room..we said we just wanted to eat it down there and he said nope sorry...so that kinda stunk, but we enjoyed our meal anyway.
then we took the sneaky sneaky elevator up to the 11th floor and got out before hitting the concierge level rooms to walk out to the rooftops.
the new addition of DVC lite up.
there was no one on the top tonight it was great we had hte whole place to ourselves.
here is the castle with no ice then a little ice then covered in ice.
for those of you who have never seen the doors on the top of the CR...here are the doors that you come in, you can see through them soom and see the wlakway that you go out onto...this is the side that you want because you dont have to come back in through the restaurant to get back to the elevators.
The left had a private party for a reception dinner going on, and the other side also had a private dinner set up, but i dont remember what hte name of there party was.
withthat we went back down to the 4th floor and up the monorail and to the TTC
when we got off, i was the first one out the door and took off to the other side before a monorail from the MK express side came to transfer people to epcot.
I got in right behind one couple that got off the MK express monorail, but me being the disney vet i outsmarted them...i went right to the CM standing there and asked if we could have the nose, he said sure you are the first to ask...well the couple went up to the nose waiting line area, and thought they had it...but they did not ask, they just assumed that they got it, and we know what happens when you assume things.
so we went and stood there as well.
They asked, if that was the line for the nose and the CM came over and said yep, but they already asked for it...i just smiled back like haha rookie.

when we took off, i asked the driver a few things, about driving and she said it is one of the hardest jobs to get, and it also has the highest turn over rate, because if you mess up the first time, you are off the driver for 1 day, if you mess up 2 times, you are off for a week.
if you mess up 3 times, you can not drive the monorail again she said.
okay thanks, that is all i asked her, then she just kept talking and telling us more and more.
she showed me the check point cards and where the check points are...the funny thing was that the guy that made up the check point cards for all of the drivers, ended up getting fired for messing up 3 times.
As she was telling me all of this, she was flying into the EPcot area, right in front of the ball...well the monorail shut down, she says see look here and i look at the screen
she was 10 mphs into the red zone when i saw it, and was suppose to be in the green already, who knows how fast it was going before i saw it...i said what happened, she said oh i was speeding.
i say i am sorry i did not want to get her in trouble, even though she was the only one talking and i stopped asking her questions before we even made it past the welcome to the MK sign about 5 minutes ago.
i asked her if she was going to get a mess up and she said that it was just a mickey speeding ticket and that it did not count against her 3 messups.
that made me fell better...
so we depart thank her for the info, and head to the busses
we were talking to a few people from jersey and another couple heard them and said they were from jersey as well..then they started saying all of there state phrases, like
"you dont go to the coast, you go down it"
they were really funny
they were laughing so hard and loud on the bus it was cracking everyone up, i think they drank around the world.
back to the room, we had parker stay with melissa and we went to go get our free drink that they gave us vouchers for when we checked in, it was suppose to be for a free champagne toast, but they did not have any, so the waitress said get whatever drinks you guys want on the menu.
so we went expensive.
we got the 9 dollar suckers.
a Acapolco Passion and a Strawberry margarita
they were good good good
now it is still before 8 when we are there and we get a call from aunt melissa that parker is crying so we head back to the room.
the people next to us, where banging on the wall because he was crying and would not stop, now these are the same people that we hear coming home each night after 10 and slamming there door and letting there kids jump on the beds, but heaven forbid he is crying before 8 oclock in the room what *** holes. she said he was only crying for 5 minutes when they were pounding on the walls.
sorry had to get that out.
candi wanted me to go say something to them but i knew if i did, they would do something stupid like pound on the walls at 11 or 12 and wake up parker and that would really pi** me off...so i just dropped it, i did not want to have to throw anyone over the balcany at 12 at night.
even if they deserve it.
so we got ready for bed and all were off to dream land after 9 for our long epcot day in the park, also our last full day here.
dont worry we did allot and still have tons of pics to show.
Highlights of day number 5.
1. relaxing in the room for afew hours in the morning
2. a nice tour around the resort to the main building.
3. seeing aunt missa
4. college football awards.
5. beating everyone else to the nose of the monorail.
6. a few moments with the wifey sipping tropical drinks by the lake.
Lowlights.
1. stupid busses at pleasure island not coming.

I'm glad you enjoyed the walk from the Boardwalk to BC area. It is so pretty - esp at night. Wouldn't it be great to stay at the Beach Club and get to swim in their pool? We stayed at the BWV back in January 08 and the BW pool was closed so they allowed us to swim in the Beach Club pool (we never did since the kids weren't along). Too bad they don't allow pool hopping at least between BWV and the Yacht & Beach Club.
Did you enjoy the pool at your resort?
I would have been tempted to go next door and say something to those people too! After all, it wasn't like it was 11 pm or midnight plus they were being noisier than a little one crying. Have sympathy folks! You probably did the right thing cuz who knows what the outcome would have been.

The monorail info was interesting. I don't think I would want that job. I love Parker's hat. It is cool that you discovered a secret way at CR. I might have to check that out. Your tropical drinks look so good! I had the best Pina Colada at Kona Cafe last year. I can't wait to get back and have another one. The people next to you were very rude!!

they were stupid and mean, i should have pounded on there walls the last morning when we got up but didnt, not sure if it was the same people still or not.
Allow pool hopping, i will pretend i did not hear that, anything is allowed at disney especially if you dont ask first.
we have "pool hopped" many a time while staying in FW campground...and i am sure hta we will next trip as well.
If you look like you know what you are doing, they wont say anything.
some people just dont think of others only themselves, they might have had to turn there tv up or something, since he was annoying them somuch.

we have been using that way up to the top of the CR since we were wee little ones, my family is very good at getting into top secret places that normally people are not allowed into..
darn tuten, i have a different word that jerks, but we will stick with jerks for now.
