awwww how sweet!! Parker got him some princess loving!!!! Go Parker!!!

I love Parker's expressions in the pics. We went to the Princess breakfast at Epcot and the princesses all kissed my nephew. He loved it!

i am sure that was a site to see.

What a fun update! I'm so glad you got some wonderful pictures of Parker's face covered with Princess Kisses! Those will definitely come in handy someday!!

Were the princesses in Toon Town? We never really hunt out characters, but Shaelyn MUST get good interaction time with the Princesses this next time around. We have breakfast scheduled in Norway.. but I don't think many of the princesses there get fully dressed up...

yep it was in toon town...make sure you get there as soon as they open and hit up the fairy line first then princess, then mickey that is the best order and we did not end up following that but will next time.

next we changed him and made our way over to playhouse disney we were cutting it close but we hoped that we could make it in time for the next show, as we walked up they were letting a few people in, and the lady said just a second let me see if htere is still room, so she said yep i have room for 3 more, well as we walked in the one lady said these seats right here, we said thanks, and sat down, we were on the back row of the far left side, well i saw a huge open area in the back row of the middle right along the isle, so i picked up parker wand walked over there.

candi says you cant do that,i said sure i can, lets go it is more in the center and on the isle...so we moved over to the middle and parker was getting a little antsy, i think he was getting hungry, but then the music started and this is the expression that did not leave his face.

this was his expression for the rest of the show, he did not really care to much for the other acts, but loved the mickey mouse club house...he still watched the other ones, just not with the same wow factor.

the expressions that he had on his face for this show, made the whole trip worth it, i will never forget that face, and will keep us taking our children back to disney world for many many more years to come.

I only wish my grandson (age 15 mos) got to see it (my daughter arrived 4 days after I did and we never made it to the parks before 10:30 so FP's were all gone by the time we got there).

I don't think you were there when we were (12/13-12/20/08) but you all look so familiar - esp when I saw your lime green t-shirts you wore to AK.

Chapter 20. The Dole Float Experience.

We were on a mission, a mission to get parker nursed and see some pirates. So we walk over by the crystal palace, and just to the left is the entrance area to the baby center.

See heres the sign,

This one had a seperate room for nursing that only mothers were allowed in, instead of the private stalls like the other places. She said it was nice, but liked the AK and MGM ones better.
Me i did not want to sit in the chair inside there it was to nice not to be outside, so i went off on my own. and instead of leaving the stroller outside with the other ones, i thought of taking it with me bad idea that was.

Off i went with candi thinking i was sitting right outside the room to get something we have been wanting for over a year now.

nope that is not what i was after.


ahhh

goodness in a cup is what i was after. so i say 1 pineapple float my good man. and he hands me the giant dessert. I start to think this will not be easy, i pay and am on my way. Now anyone that was around me, would have thought that they had started serving alcohol in the MK.

I had one hand on the stroller trying to push it back to the baby center, and with no child in it to weigh it down, i was not pushing it straight, it was kinda weaving back and forth, while hte other hand was craddling the sweet treat. well that said sweet treat was beginning to melt, i had a few options. stop off to the side, and eat it down, so i did not have to worry about stearing and eating, Nope that would not work, i did not want candi to come out of the room and wonder where i went. I could pitch it and go on my way, nope that is not an option i am to cheap to buy another one. Or option 3 continue on the said course, and trynot to run people over and eat while driving, so that is what i chose.

as i am drunk stumble walking trying to control the stroller, i am hunched over the float trying to not let it drip down the cup and my arm onto me while it is melting away.

As i am licking the side and drinking the pinapple juice from the straw from the back, people are getting a view that looks like someone that has not eaten in years. I can only image if pictures were taken of me. i have sticky pineapple ice cream all over my face, and it is starting to dry in the sun. that is not feeling well, but i have made it over the bridge to the the hub area, and turn to the baby center, i have knocked down about 3 inches of the ice cream tower, and holding back the pineapple juice that is rising from the melting ice cream in the cup, it now looks like a mound of ice cream instead of the beautiful creating that it was when i got it a mere minute ago.

I pull up to the baby center, and let the stroller sit outside, well i forgot to take the bag off the back of the stroller and it tipped, ah crap, so i pick that up, and head inside with a cup of ice cream that is now only the height of hte cup and pineapple juice floating around it. and sit down in the comfy lobby chair.

Candi comes out a few seconds later with a parker nursed full belly.

She says ohh that is sweet you got me the dole float thanks hunny, and i hand it over all sticky wrapped in a napkin and i get parker back in the stroller. She asks me, i thought these were much bigger last year.


I tell her the story with a few demonstrations as to how i had to hold it up and the stroller, and she asks me, why did you not leave the stroller here.

I say thanks, and finish getting parker ready to go. She downs the rest and says it was good.

We see a photopass lady standing there so we get in line to get apicture taken.

Parker was not sure what we were doing with our hands.

Then i think he saw tink cause he started to laugh..

We were off to go to Pirates and back over the bridge of shame that i just had walked.

saw rafiki to our right, but did not stop, he would have scared parke with all that fur.

Now as you can see from this picture, the lady next to candi is the CM that was standing at the line entrance, as we were walking up, she kept saying both sides open folks, both lines open, please use both the right and the let hand sides. so we go off to the right side.

Well no one else is in front of us, or follows behind us. they all keep going to the left, there lose.

as we are walking all the way up to the front, we get to te point where both lines are right next to each other about 10 minutes away from the ride, well that side is stopped, our side still no one in front of us, i am videoing our walk up as it is a first ther is no one that we are behind, and it catches me saying right as we are next to all of these people, "hey hun, look at those suckers over there waiting" and i keep going, fearing to look at them and lock eyes. Candi just laughs, and keeps walking, we hope right into the next boat with even stopping, as it is getting ready to pull out, a couple jumps in behind us so we did not have an empty boat to ourself but 5 people to a boat is not bad.

and my captain jack photo.

now i have seen a few picturs of the pirate tutorial of captain jack, and i have to say that this one is the the most realistic one that is there,

i think it is the same one that we saw last year,
you judge.

Then we passed the closed line of jasmine, and alladin.

and made it to the village hause for lunch.

we looked at there menu, and nothing hit us that we were hungry for.

so we left and headed over to our fail safe cosmic rays, we love it here and always love the food.
we saw a line for the step sisters but passed, because we really do not like them or the mother.

it was lunch time, i think i had the double cheese burger with fries and candi got the chicken nugget meal. i love that they brought back the cheese sauce for hte fries, there is nothing better than hot cheese on fries.

parker was ready for lunch, and liked watching sunny eclipse perform, we had the seat right in front of the stage.

he still had some lipstick from cinderella that we did not get all the way off.


lunch was very very good and we were glad we ate here.

candi had the 8 piece basket of nuggets, and was getting full and started to move her fries to get another nugget, well she looks and says huh, thats not right, and counts and has 6 chicken nuggets left, and says i know i ate at least 6 of them i am getting very full. she eats a few more and i get the rest.

only thing better than cheese sauce back at cosmic rays is getting extra nuggest in your meal for free. cooks must have thought she was cute.


we clean up and head out the door.

up next we hit buzz lightyear and take anap.

I've always wondered why no one goes right in PotC... their loss, right!

Oh my gosh Dan, TOO funny with the Dole Whip story. I can only imagine..
Although on our 2007 trip, Dbf and I have seen in MGM where 2 grown men were in one of those blue strollers/carts with beers in each of their hands being pushed by one of their wives. Now THAT was priceless

We stayed at BWV (with a boardwalk view ) Absolutely loved it! The reason I thought you looked familiar was on Saturday afternoon I was at SSR doing the DVC tour and I saw a family with an orange stroller similar to Parker's (and wearing lime green tshirts and I just knew they had to be Disers). I thought I would love to get an orange stroller like that for my grandson. Parker looks so great in his!

Too funny! I've had quite a few experiences like that while babysitting... trying to balance a million things and push a heavy carriage with one hand. Good times! I'm glad you and Candi still got to enjoy it! And I love the Cosmic Ray's video. As always, Parker's such a cutie and it was fun to hear a litltle bit of Sonny Eclipse's song!

that is the way to travel, beer drinking while being pushed around.

i see, nope we did not make it to SSR this trip, i dont think i have ever been there except seeing it from DTD.
the orange stroller was perfect, so easy to find when coming off rides, since the CM's move the strollers like every 5 minutes, ours was never in the same spot we left it.

i thought about getting a picture, of it, but i am sure i would have ended up wearing it.

i love all the songs that sunny eclips sings, i know them by heart.

i remeber when it used to rise out of the ground and the shows would start that way.

anastasia (the one in the pink) is one my favorite characters in all of disney. she is HILARIOUS!!!! funniest character i've ever come across. when parker gets older you have to let him meet them - they are hysterical.

Dan love the Dole Whip story as well. I will have to agree those umbrella strollers are hard to push while holding onto to something and pushing with one hand. Here's my mom tip for you if it ever happens again, use your right hand (or left hand) to push the left handle for (or the right handle). That seems to work better for me.

I definately think that's the same Capt Jack for sure. I love the Tink picture of you guys when Parker cracks up, he's just so cute with that little laugh face. Can't wait to see if Parker loves Buzz.
