Good Day Fellow WISHers!
Once upon a time I lost 50lbs on WW, then I got married and moved to Alaska. Apparently I figured I must do what bears do as they prepare for a long winter and stack on the weight. I gained almost 30 lbs back..as the scale was nearing that 200 lb mark. I knew something had to change, so I went back to WW and have been at the program the last 12 weeks and have lost 16lbs. Not so easy this time, I have done some major flunctuating with my losses, and to be honest its very frustrating, that is why I love this site gives me the support that I need and the knowledge that others are on this journey with me.
So I figure that journaling is a major part of weight loss, so if I can make drinking water and exercise a priority then I should do my best to make journaling a priority to. I don't know what I will write in here, maybe what I ate during the day, if I exercised, and just stresses I'm feeling just to get it out of my system.
Today is Monday, April 4th, 2005 and I am entering my last month of college. Can we say major stress. I have two tests and a 3-5 page paper due, all before Wednesday. And I'm trying not to think about what happens after that, FINALS! Ughh its been a rough year trying to get petitions in for classes the University of Alaska didn't want to give me, but finally as of Tuesday last week all I have to do is pass my classes this semester. Then on May 1st, 2005 my 5 year trek to obtain my bachelor's degree will be over.
You're probably thinking what does this have to do with weight loss. Well school is my biggest stumbling block, between studying and more studying I often find myself skipping meals and leaving no time to exercise. So for week 1 of my journal my goal is to exercise daily and to eat at least 4 times a day healthy snacks..and no Jelly beans don't count LOL (I love those things a little too much). So here is to my first week of journaling and trying a new thing in my life.
Good luck to all of you out there, I know how it hard it is.
