So what do you wear on your feet? I prefer not to wear sneakers because it'll be too warm.

I love crocs and last trip I wore either those or my Disney Fitflops.. so comfortable.. my feet are NOT comfortable in sneakers!
Hope this helps!

I love to wear my adidas gel sandals (filp-flops) which are super cushy and comfy. My brit husband prefers sneakers & sox ALWAYS, then has soggy feet after wet rides. My kids are best with the most padded sandals or flipflops I can find that also have a strap around the heel. I find this keeps the shoes on better than plain cheap flipflops. The brands change from year to year, but I have them wear the new shoes for a few weeks before we go to work out any kinks.
And I always bring an extra pair for everybody.

Definitely KEEN shoes - lightweight, great arch support, you'll never get a blister in them ever, and you can walk forever in them! I have VERY bad feet and have no problems walking day after day at Disney! Until I found these shoes, I was stopping every 100 yards to put new bandaids on my blisters and rest my aching feet while at Disney. NO MORE!!

I wear the St. Barts style, DH likes Venice H2 (I think those are the ones?).

I swear by my Sanuk yoga mat flip flops! They are pricier than say, Old Navy ones - but they are sooo comfy. They are actually made out of yoga mats, so they are nice and squishy! I know some people love Rainbows, but the arch that is in them bothers my feet - the Sanuks are perfect. My husband has a pair too, and the ones for guys are made out of drink cozy -- also super thick and comfy! Good luck to you! :goodvibes

Welcome to the boards. I always were newer sneakers to WDW. There is so much walking, I don't think sandals or crocs would give me enough support. If needed, you can always change socks mid-day.

I can't wear tennis shoes at Disney either. I rarely wear tennis shoes at all. I wear old navy flip flops and adidas gel flip flops. I never have any trouble.

:smickey: WELCOME!!
We wear Tevas. They are so comfortable. They look like sandals on the top but on the bottom they are like tennis shoes in that they provide great support. I wore them last year and had no problems.

I wear Tevas. We went to DW last May and that's all I wore the whole trip. I fell in love with them they are all I wear now. I have like 5 different pairs. So beware they are addictive but the most comfy flip flops ever! =)

If you do wear flip flops get them a few weeks before the trip and break them in or you'll end up getting a blister in between your toes. I'm a fan of old navy flip flops and Target has some decent flip flops by Mossimo. I wear them all the time to Disney.

Add one more in support of Sanuks. I'm not a huge fan of flip flops due to the usual lack of support, but my wife told me to try on the Sanuks and they are amazing.

Have to say my go-to shoe for amusement parks or even short hikes are my Keens. Comfortable, quick drying, more support than regular flip flops or Crocs and for clumsy me, a reinforced, enclosed front toe which has probably saved my poor abused toes a million times (I'm a chronic stubber).

The past 3 years, I've worn my :lovestrucdansko:lovestruc sandals to the Parks. My sister is a nurse and wears their professional line and raves about them so I figured I'd try them out and loved them [tried the clogs in the winter and then bought 3 pairs of sandals for the summer].

They are soooooo comfy, never a blister, I like how they look and they provide the support I need for my knees & lower back--are they $$$? Yes, but worth it--I've been enjoying my sandals and they are headed back for a 4th trip to Disney! :lmao:

I have the Surraya, but OOOOO...the calliope just caught my eye!

I gotta put my vote in for Teva as well. I love the Mush flip flops(own 3 pairs). My husband and I both have the Teva Hurricane sandals and we love them. I alternate depending on what we are doing at the parks those days.
