Flip flop lovers! Which are the best fir WDW?

My daughter gave me some Cobian flip flops last year for Mother's day and I love them. I've worn them walking here in Colorado for over 5-6 miles and never had a problem. Going to take a newer pair with me to WDW next month to swap with my tennis shoes.

The Cobian's have a slight wedge and a great arch support and mold to your feet. I found new ones recently at my mall at The FlipFlop Shop.

I've got two pairs of the Cobian Braided Bounce that I love. The other Cobians I've tried though I don't like as well. The Cobian Braided Bounce I can wear even with my plantar fasciitis. The only thing is if you use Body Glide on your feet, like I do, the black soles will fade onto your feet. They are not as comfortable as my beloved OluKai Ohanas, but come fairly close and are alot cheaper. lol

My DD brings with her 4 pairs of Old Navy flip flops, cost $10 , each pair a different color to match her outfits.
Wears them to all the Parks - never has an issue.
If they break or wear out, they get thrown out.

My DD has a real pair of sandals to wear when we go out to dinner...Cali Grill :goodvibes

Why is it I can walk in 4" heels but CAN NOT walk in flip flops? I'm planning on sneakers for disney but would love to sport some flip flops ESP at TL or @ the resort pool.

I also love my Sanuk Yoga mats. I also love Sanuk Pick Pocket slip on shoes/sandals and walked over 45 miles in San Francisco in them in 4 days with no issues. My new favorite is Reef "Ridiculously Comfortable" and they ARE! I will probably bring all three in October to WDW...my perfect trifecta!:thumbsup2

For me, there's no questions: Teva Mush.

The DIS made converts of me and my entire family.

This thread reminded me I need to buy new flips. (to replace my ancient ones). Bought the Capri Crocs in blue/gray and the new pink polka dot ones. They grey ones are a little tight but with leather you have to work them a little to loosen up anyway.

However right now my bedroom smells like the Croc store. :rotfl: Very distinctive.

Picked up some teva olowahu's today. Love them! Will be on the lookout for the other brands mentioned this weekend. We leave in 6 days!!

Skechers Shape Ups. Teva Mush.

I second the Skechers Shape Ups...a lot of support, very comfortable and lots of stylish options to choose from. Also, anything Clarks. Comfortable straight out of the box and they are really making some nice looking shoes lately!

Another Olukai Ohana lover here. I too have a problem with PF but with the Olukai's, my feet don't ache. I have a pair of Reefs that I like as well but can't last as long in them as I can with my Olukai's

Today I got a pair of Sketchers Rastas and the minute I put them on I knew they were my Disney shoes:)

Olukai! they are the best. They can be found in some of the resorts gift shops and also on their website online. They are Hawaiin brand and the most comfortable flip flops for arch support and walking ever! worth every single penny!

Thanks to the dis I bought a pair of teva original mush's last summer....and then another pair....and then another pair....

I wore them all summer long, and wore them for 10 days at Disney every day, and my feet didn't hurt once. I also have a big feet sweating problem and found a lot of brands to make my feet sweat more...nothing ruins your fun more than if you're worried about sliding off the back of your flip flops! My tevas absorbed the moisture and kept my feet dry, and didn't smell or get dirty. A win-win in my book! I will be trying the sanuk yoga mats though, thanks to this thread! :) Never can have too many pairs of flip flops, IMO!

Where is the best place to find the Teva Mush and how do you know if they are the "original" style? thanks,

Olukai! they are the best. They can be found in some of the resorts gift shops and also on their website online. They are Hawaiin brand and the most comfortable flip flops for arch support and walking ever! worth every single penny!

I agree! Nothing compares to my beloved OluKai Ohanas. They run around $65.00 usually, but are definitely worth every penny. I have several pairs of the other OluKai's (Kumu and Paniolo) but they are no where near as comfortable as my beloved OluKai Ohanas for all day walking.

I have the Ohana's in black, brown, white/brown, silver, gold (Mica), turquoise, purple, and hot pink (Cosmo). When we leave for WDW in a little less than two weeks, all I'm carrying are my silver and gold Olukai Ohanas. I carried several pairs of flip flops my last trip, but all I round up wearing were the silver, gold, and hot pink OluKai. The last time I spent a week at Universal I carried the white OluKai, tan Sketcher Tone Ups, brown Yoga Mat, bronze Cobian Leather Bounce, and some pink Nike Celso. The only pair I wore all week were the white OluKai.:rotfl:

Just bought a pair of the Olukai Ohana and the Teva Mush, will test over the summer so I can be happy in WDW in December. I despise closed shoes so am so excited to try something new. I will also bring my old standby FitFlops!

I love that Ohana is part of the name! :cheer2:
