Okay everyone I am looking for some help here....we still haven't booked our flights to Florida for APRIL and I am kind of freaking out. We are booked for the 17-24 but can go down a few days early and stay somewhere cheap if the flight deals are amazing!!
I missed the air canada sale because I was put on hold and then disconnected and when I tried to book again the fares were gone :(
I cannot book online direct because we have an infant flying with us.
Can anyone tell me where to get the best flight deal?? we want direct as we have two girls under 3 yo. we are flying out of Toronto.
Thanks

DH was looking around for flights into MCO for that weekend and was having a really hard time. He's trying to get down for some golf with his buddies and the prices seemed way out of whack. Try expedia, sometimes it's helpful to get an idea for the lowest fare or just check with your TA. They should be able to help you out!

Either way, GL :)

How far are you from either Detroit or Buffalo?
Our flights were 800 canadian out of Detroit for the 4 of us.
Good Luck! :goodvibes

Good luck ... this close to your dates I doubt you'll find really cheap flights. I checked your dates and the cheapest I could find is WestJet for $485 per person return.

SouthWest out of Buffalo, www.southwest.com. We flew with them 2 years ago and just booked again for our trip in March. They have a great airline and have amazing prices compared to Air Canada out of YYZ.

For this trip we priced AC at $2200, WestJet $2800 and SouthWest out of Buffalo at a wopping $1000 US taxes in for us and our 2 kids. This was priced for direct flights return at really good times.

Seriously look at them. There are a lot people on these boards that have flown with them and really Buffalo is only an extra 1.5 - 2 hours past Toronto.

Looks like a duplicate post from Feb 2nd when you asked for advice on flights. You won't find any deals from Pearson at this point. Spirit has returnfares from Detroit for $174.24 including taxes.

IM GOING TO BE REAPEATING WHAT WAS SAID, WE LIVE IN NOTL ONLY 45 MIN FROM BUFFALO AIRPORT. WE WOULD NEVER!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! FLY FROM TORONTO. TOOOOOOOOOOO EXPENSIVE AND TOOOOOOOOOO MANY HASSLES. ONCE YOU GET ACROSS THE BORDER YOU HAVE CLEARED US CUSTOMS. EVERYTHING AT BUFFALO AIRPORT IS QUICKER AND EASIER. CHECK WITH JET BLUE AND SOUTH WEST. WE ARE FLING DOWN NEXT WED MAR10th $79 ONE WAY UNDER 200 BOTH WAYS. PRICES DO VARY DEPENDING ON TIME OF DAY AND DAY OF WEEK. WHEN YOU GET PRICE ONLINE YOU GET FINAL PRICE. NOT LIKE IN CANADA WHERE THEY SAY FLIGHT TO SOMEWHERE ON AIR CANADA $100 THEN IN SMALL PRINT PLUS $300 TAXES.
YOU CAN GET DIRECT FLIGHTS FROM BUFFALO ON JET BLUE YOUR ALOUD 1 BAG EACH FREE AND SOUTHWEST YOUR ALLOWED 2 BAGS FREE PLUS ON BOTH YOU CAN TAKE CARRY ON WHICH CAN BE A SMALL BAG ON WHEELS.

I agree with the previous posters...check Southwest!! We're going a week after you and while I bought our flights back in the fall when they were released, the prices are still pretty good. And remember, don't just compare the listed price vs. flights out of Pearson...there is very little taxes and fees added when you fly out of Buffalo compared to the astronomical fees out of Pearson.

I've been flying Southwest for years now and I'd be pretty hard pressed to ever fly out of Pearson again, not only for the $$ savings, but far less hassle too!!! It's a breeze to get there (we cross at Fort Erie and take the I190/I90 route, sometimes stay overnight before near Galleria Mall for some great shopping too!!).

We have not purchased flights yet. The flights we want to take are 75% empty/25% full (ok the plane is partly full and mostly empty enough of the water analogy lolz) right now which means the prices will drop. Unfortunately we are land locked here and must fly out of Calgary.:goodvibes

If you pay using your visa, you can get 15% of Air Canada flights see visaperks dot ca

You can purchase your tickets on line, and then call the ticket centre to have an infant added to your ticket.

I'm in total agreement with the majority here. The best option at this time is flying from a US airport.....Buffalo, Detroit, Rochester, Pittsburgh. You can get direct, non stop flights with Southwest, Jet Blue and AirTran.

If money is no issue than you can still get several flight options from YYZ.
