Just booked my disney hotel, now i need to find flights, Westjet seems sooo pricey, will flights go down closer to time? Should I wait or book? We are going in August flying out of Toronto!

I don't think with the price of oil flights will come down in price.

Have you looked at flying out of the US on Southwest, Airtran or Jet Blue.

We are flying JetBlue out of Syracuse, NY $84.00 per adult one way to Orlando, and $84.00 per adult one way back to Syracuse.

There is also Buffalo and Rochester airports in NY. I don't know which airport would be closest for you.

Also continue to check expedia.ca and travelocity.ca as well as the airlines themselves. Sometimes there are sales when you least expect it. Request e-mail updates.

www.kayak.com will use multiple web sites and more than one airport to check air fares. It can even give you prices in cdn $ if you set it up right

fly out of Buffalo. It's unbelievable the difference in pricing and you can get nonstop flights that get you there in under 3 hours!

we booked sunwing for august, flights were about $360 return with taxes in. That's about as good a deal out of toronto even with the discounts. $99 each way is close to $350 with taxes.

maybe one day we'll fly out of buffalo

Hi there, I also wanted the convenience of flying out of TO but I just couldn't justify all the money they want in taxes..I got a flight out of Detroit with Airtran for $156.00 each return . With taxes and seat selection ($10)it is $198.00 for each of us.

I agree that Sunwing also seemed like best deal out of TO.

We actually booked our airline tickets through Westjet Vacations it includes a car which we really did not want but it was cheaper. To only book airline tickets through Westjet or AC it was much more expensive. It makes no sense, but now we have a car to use to shop at the outlets. We are going in August as well, but are flying from Newfoundland. Hope this helps

I just booked lastnight United 13 tickets for $447 we leave in Dec next year. I was too nervous to wait to see if they went down any further. real I think we did not too bad 9 tickets were $371 and 4 had to be $546 so we split the cost between all of us and it is just under $450 with all the fees and taxes.

We booked our end of July trip back in January and paid $1100 for 5 people! It is virtually impossible to fly out from Toronto for under $2000, more like $2400. So we are saving about $1300. We will probably drive, but if we are going in the winter time, we'll probably take Megabus from downtown as suggested by another member for around $50 return. The difference in airfare is enough to buy Disney tickets for all of us

Airtran and Jetblue have direct flights from Buffalo, but I think only 1 a day.
