flights via orbitz

Hey guys! I'm trying to be a "super saver" and get a flight for our next trip through orbitz. Has anyone used them before and did you have any problems..or has anyone heard anything bad about them?? Any other sites??

I've used orbitz in the past. They are owned by the airlines that are listed on them, so you won't get some of the other airlines that may be less; Southwest doesn't come up, for example.

Also, for some reason, I've seen the saem flights for less on airlines homepages than on Orbtiz, so check both.

Honestly, I have checked Orbitz and never found it to be any cheaper than what I could get from the airline website. You could also try cheaptickets.com, travelocity.com, and expedia.com. Is there a discount airline where you fly out of? Southwest, SONG, TED, Jet Blue? There are lots of places to check and most of the discount airlines won't be listed on the main travel websites, you have to go directly to their websites.

We have always used orbitz, 3 times to Disney and 1 time to San Antonio. We have never had any problems. I would definately recommend them.

Second time around for us using Orbitz is coming in 99 days (YEAH!!!!!!!!!). Had no problems when we booked through them previously and found their phone assistance with our questions to be wonderful! I also found their rates to be the lowest than any others and they offered us a nice discount on our one seat out of five reservations that is for our "carseat" child!!

We have used Orbitz twice and both times got the cheapest rate plus had no check-in/flight difficulties. I would recommend them to anyone.
