I would like to ask anyone that has gone to Knotts Berry Farm and rod the Pony Express ride, if that is simular to the FOP ride. You have to place your feet flat on the platform, lean over the vehicle like you are on a horse and it has a back brace that clicks in to hold you.
We went there las week and I figure if my Husband can ride that, FOP should be okay.

Flight of Passage is more like riding a bike. You sit upright and there are 2 restraints (back and behind legs).

To add some more detail - FoP is not a roller coaster at all. It is like Soarin', but 1000x better. The seat/experience is different from Soarin', but it is essentially the same kind of motion simulator system. So you don't "ride" anywhere as you would on Pony Express, which is a traditional roller coaster.

Yeah its kinda similar a little awkward. I've ridden both in the last 2 months. I have to laugh though, because ride body positioning is the only comparison you can make between the two. You will be soooo amazed with FOP. I believe it is the best ride out there. Its almost perfect.(If you have ridden Voyage to the Iron Reef at Knotts Berry, you may get an inkling that there is one more thing imagineers can do with rides to take them to even another level-the star wars may include this maybe, lol?) Also, watch out for seat #16. The extra features weren't working on it.

My GD does not like 3D or 4D rides so we did not go on that. But both of them enjoyed Pony Express. I did not. But since FOP is nor a roller coaster, I will be fine.
DH did not think he could fit on Pony but he has no problem at all. So in October we will try it out.

FOP is the best thing I have ever done and I don't think its comparable to anything out there except Soarin but its like Soarin on Steroids
