Has anyone booked flights for Orlando from Halifax for next April yet? The prices seem really high. If there happened to be a seat sale, how long in advance do they usually come out? Wecan do the return from Tampa or St. Petersburg if the Prices are better from there.

    You're looking for YHZ, dennise?

    Have you bookmarked:

Continental, Delta and United are accessed through those search engines, as well as AC.

Canjet hasn't released their prices for that far out yet, I don't think.

We're trying to wait a little longer to see what the new pre-clearance at YHZ will do for schedules, and prices.

Got our fingers crossed for low flying fares for January!! :wizard: :wizard:

Even though the airport is only 45 minutes from home we opted not to fly out of Halifax and decided to fly direct with Delta out of Boston. This will be a first for us...we've never flown with an american carrier before however the price was too great to turn down.

We purchased 5 return tickets for $1409 Canadian :cool1: .
Believe it or not Air Canada is the cheapest at the moment for our March 2007 trip vs Westjet or Canjet. Air Canada wants $3603.65, Canjet $5075.85 :bitelip: and Westjet $3914.85. Airfare has become insane out of Halifax.

We're driving to Boston the day before we fly out and staying at the Comfort Inn Boston which offeres a park, sleep and fly package allowing us to stay the night, leave our van there for 14 days and they provide a free airport shuttle, all for $179.00. Even with the gas we'll still be saving well over $2000+. :woohoo:

Thank goodness for portable DVD players to keep the kids happy during the drive ;)
