Flights August 2018

When can I get just flight prices for August 2018? Really just want to get booked :/

Flights get released 11 months in advance so you need to be looking in
September of this year

Think Thomas Cook flights are erased earlier but not sure when x

You can book a Virgin fly-drive now but it's coming out about £1200pp!!

Thomas cook and Thomson both have flights for August 2018 but they are quite expensive now.
BUT I wouldn't worry too much, when I've done a skyscanner comparison there are still flights around for this August for fairly reasonable money.

It's only the tour operators like virgin holidays and Thomson's etc who release flights this far in advance, and they really hike up the premium for being able to book so far in advance (and often pay a deposit, which you can't do if just booking a traditional flight).

Once all of the other competitors have released their figures, you should see the price come down. There's multiple airlines and airports to choose from, you'll see much better prices when everyone has revealed their hand

You'll definitely get bargains if your willing to fly indirect. We paid just a little less than £1150 for 2a, 2c for 15th August to 2nd Sept. MAN-PHL-MCO, no long layovers either. I booked in October last year. Also consider flying into Tampa as that can work out cheaper. BA had some really good deals for flydrive for early August in Sept last year. It's just a case of setting a budget and buying when you are happy
