I'm trying to book a flight for 5 of us, the first time our children have ever flown.
I'm noticing as I search for flights, that if I search for 1 or 2 people, I get one price, for 3 another, and for all 5 the highest price yet. (I discovered this by mistake as I first searched for 1, being lazy and not wanting to take the time to put in the ages of the kids. )
So what gives? Can I book first 2 of us, then 2 more, then 1 in order to get the best price? I checked the seat assignments, and there are more than enough seats available for us.
One more question - with five of us, would it be better to request seats in sets of 2 and 2 with one person in the aisle across from a seat, or behind the seats? Their ages are 14, 9 and 7? I hate to make any of them sit alone, but it's unavoidable.
Thank you!
