We are at the Poly for our next trip with 3 small kids. We have a limo taking us to the airport.

How should we schedule our day?

MK all morning, check out at noonish, lunch, then depart? What time should we head to the airport?

TIA!

For a 7 o'clock flight I would have the towncar pick you up around 5pm. That gets you to the airport around 5:30 and at that time of day that should be fine. If you like to allow a little more time, then have them pick you up at 4:30.

I would check out in the morning as you leave your room and have your bags picked up and stored at the hotel. Then you're free to do whatever you want. I tend to spend the day at the parks. If you do that, plan on leaving the parks 1 hour before your scheduled pick up time. That gives you plenty of time to catch a bus, travel back to the resort, and pick up your bags.

If we cant squeeze it in anywhere else, we may spend our last day at Downtown Disney! We just HAVE to get some shopping in!!! ::yes:: We also have a 7 pm flight home.

We spent our last day at MK too. We took our time in the morning at the hotel to get all packed up & then stored our bags with the bell staff. Went into MK around 11am, ate lunch at Peco's Bills, and left around 4pm to catch a 5pm limo to MCO. That gave us enough time to get back, change into long pants for the flight & be ready when the limo arrived!

We also schedule our flights so that we leave Orlando in the evening. We leave our last day open so that we don't feel like we have to do anything in particular that last day. We usually spend some time at Downtown Disney buying those last minute souvenirs. We also usually hop around from park to park a bit, hitting anything we may have missed earlier in the week or those things we want to do "just one more time." Although with three kids it may be a bit hard to coordinate too much moving around!!

Last trip (we drove) we loaded up the car, did Chef Mickeys for breakfast (taking about 1.5 hrs), checked out, then went for one last ride on both monorail loops up front (had to wait for up front at least once). Afterwards, we headed over to DTD for some shopping at World of Disney, Christmas store, etc, then I headed out of town before traffic got too bad. I never felt rushed and was able to take my time looking around, etc. I think I walked around World of Disney about 3 times before settling on the items I wanted. We dont waste a half day on a ticket at the park, but instead save them for our next trip since theyre good for life! Of course if its off season, it might be worthwhile since you wont be standing in lines all the time.

We request a late check-out, then head to MK for the Disney Mt range. With little ones, your plan will probably be different. Sometimes we have a late breakfast at Crystal Palace or Boma depending on where we're staying and then relax at the pool until it's time to go to the airport. We always try to get on the last non-stop flight to Providence--makes the trip seem longer.

Sounds like some great plans and ideas

What about a 6:45 pm flight out? We're scheduled out on a 6:45 pm flight and our shuttle company said they'd pick us up at 4:00 pm. Does that sound too early?

Usually a shuttle service (such as Mears) will pick you up much earlier, due to lots of other stops at other resorts!! If you have a car service (such as FLTours) your pick up time will be later, because it's only you they have to pick up. It is really well worth the extra money, in my opinion!!

Actually it is our own shuttle. We're using Basik shuttle for a 15 passenger van. She said they'd pick our family up at 4:00 pm and take us to the airport. I just thought it was rather early?????? We'd be there by 4:30ish? I guess since it's Thanksgiving Day we need to be there 2 hours before the flight? I'm not really sure.
