Flight delay past DME time scenario?

We have a Jetblue flight leaving at 5pm for MCO. I see that flight has been delayed a few times. What happens if I check the bags with DME tags but we are delayed and arrive past 10 pm? Will the luggage be available for us to pick up? Or will it end up on DME the next day?

If you end up arriving after the time DME picks up baggage you will be able (required) to grab your own bags and haul them to the DME yourself.
