I just received my package of plane tickets, Limo vouchers and resort reservations from WDW Travel Co. On the flight itinerary it shows a class code of L for the departing flight and a class code of U for the returing flight. Does anyone know what these codes stand for and why they are different?

Also, WDW booked me with Star Taxi Shuttle Service for the Limo trip. Nobody ever seems to mention this Company. Are they OK?

The fare class is the airline classification. L and U is the cheapest Y is the most expensive. In the real world it only means anything if you are trying to change the ticket. If for example you wanted to change your return there would have to be seats avaialbe at the "u" price and then you would only have to pay the $100 change fee. If there were not seats available at "u" then you would have to pay the fare difference. Also, those fare classes can't always be upgraded to First class using your frequent flyer rewards.

I am pretty sure Star is owned by Mears.

Fare codes mean different things on different airlines. It would help to know what airline you are flying. I am going out on a limb and assuming you are on Delta because Delta cheap fares are "L" and "U" fare. If you are frequent flyer you would call this a LUser fare, meaning you can't upgrade it on Delta.

Continental cheap seats are Q and T

Y = Full Fare Unrestriced Coach

F = First Class

There are lots of others but that wasn't what you wanted to know :teeth:
