This is a very simple photography question so I feel kind of out of place ...

I have put my pictures into shutterfly where I am cropping them etc. and putting them into a scrapbook, will print some etc. I have also been working on a Yahoo trip report. I think the only way to add pictures to the Yahoo tr is through flickr. If so can I upload the pictures I have already worked on in shutterfly? I don't see where in flicr I can crop etc and I don't want to have to do it twice. Are there other sites you would recommend for doing a trip report (it is of PA-Hershey, United Flight 93 memorial etc)?

thanks

do you have any software that came with your camera. like arcsoft comes with i think most canon stuff...if so i would edit them then download to what ever site you want to. usually i download to my computer then edit via my software then make a slide show or what ever( i have photoshp elements 5 and it makes slideshows, not sure about others) if i want prints or a book or something i just download the final edited copies of the photos to where ever, keeping the originals on my computer and/ or back up disks.
not sure if this addressed your question. i do use photobucket to download some things ( ie to here) and have made books of preedited photos etc on shutterfly but i think most of the editing there might not be real detailed

thanks for taking the time to help me out. I looked around and we have photoshop elements 4.0. I have started reading the manual and organizing the photos with tags and into collections-I love it! I guess I jumped the gun by trying to go right to a trip report etc. Do you use photobucket for anything other then downloading to here? Also are are you aware of sites other then Yahoo to make trip reports? I like the thought of keeping them all in one place and being able to share them. Thanks again.
