Hey,

We have been orlando twice and both times we purchased our flexitickets out there, on like the small booths you see around on international drive, and can usually haggle them down abit, we will be buying 5.

We are going on the 30th, and the prices of the flexitickets over here are about £160, i was wondering is it actually cheaper if we do what we usually do, and buy them over there.

Cheers

Very few people buy tickets over in Orlando as you have no idea who you are buying from or what you are buying. Only last year more arrests were made http://www.thetravelmagazine.net/i-3598--fraudulant-disney-world-ticket-touts-busted.html
Other problem with roadside/kiosk sales in Orlando is many are related to timeshare.
For me and many others its not worth the hassle to maybe save a few $'s. I would only buy in UK or buy direct the parks. There are a few reputable companies where you can order online and collect from an office over there but that takes time out of your holiday, again is it worth saving a few $'s to give up holiday time?

As for the Flex tickets, are you sure you want all the parks included, often there are better deals buying other tickets.

Thanks for the reply, yeahh to be honest we done the disney parks before and we much preferred the parks which are included on the flexticket. Also as we are staying on international drive, wet n wild is walking distance, and the parks on the flexticket, we have free transport to them.

The disney parks are great, and we will probably still visit MGM studios, but we will just pay for that ticket seperately.

Last time we bought from little ticket booth things along international drive, and its been fine. I would prefer to buy them here, but the old man thinks that its better if we buy them there haha

All depends on deals around when you go and exact parks you want but for example with Travel Republic the Flex ticket plus costs £188 but you can buy the 3 park (UNI/IOA/Wetnwild) ticket for £100 and the 3 park (SW/Aquatica/Busch) for £72, meaning its £16pp cheaper not to buy Flex, they are often an expensive option.

Another thing with buying tickets in US is you can lose out on exchange rates at least buying in UK you know the exact price.

We bought the Flex Plus from IOA in June, next time I would buy before in the UK though

Thanks Wayne, I get really frustrated by their bundles :headache: They know that most people want US/IOA and Busch or SW but never bundle them together....grrr.....

Another option to look at for anyone that goes every year is Annual passes.
We have UNI/IOA $149(costs more for 1st year) & SW/Busch $112($225 for 2 years)
About same price as a flex ticket but no water parks, not something we use. We then get free parking and good discounts.

I just had a look on British Airways Experiences (new discovery for me)

You could get a Busch/Seaworld/Aquatica for £69.05
And a US/IOA for £80.17

Both valid for 14 days - works our as £149.22 per person!!

The prices vary according to the days you select (for my dates in october/nov it is £5 less)

Worth having a look
