I recall some crazy trip reports with Dissers and their completely cute flattie friends. I'd be grateful if someone would be willing to share their templates...it would be a great help because I am not much of an artist!

Another option is to Google paper dolls
I found a site by doing that that had a super basic body pattern that you just had to print .
The site also had templates for basic clothes, shoes and hats.

Getting the face was the hardest part, I first found a picture I wanted to use and then cropped the face out and just kept enlarging it until I got it the right size. Trial and error really.

Once I had everything printed out, I just colored the clothes with markers.
I glued everything together and then used a no-machine sheet of laminating paper to seal it. I picked up the paper at Office Depot.
After it was sealed, I just cut around the flattie leaving about a quarter of and inch all around the edges.

A lot of DISers use their Cricut machine to create flatties. :)

I would love one of them to do these for me!!! :lmao: I've never even heard of this gadget.

I checked out the paper doll links and think I can manage making some of my own creation. If I'm not embarassed by how they turn out I will post a pic of them. :thumbsup2

I'm pretty pleased...and grateful for the person who posted the costumes online 'for personal use'. My parents and in-laws will be laughing at all the antics they will have gotten up to on the way to WDW and during the party! :lmao:

We just returned from our trip and I realized that my original pic of the flatties I made did not appear, so I have updated it and it now appears! Turns out the flatties weren't that hard to make.
Here is a pic of them 'trick or treating' - we had a lot of fun finding ways to photograph them but many of the photos are too large to post (I'm slowly learning how to do these things!) Of those pics, my favourite is the boys being shot out of the cannon in front of the Pirates League!
