Flatbreads...

Have seen pics of flatbreads, and really want to try one (especially when we eat at Cali Grill in a few weeks!)

But do they have a tomato sauce on them like pizza's do? I really REALLY hate tomatoes! I presume if they have tomatoes on and i ask nicely they will do me one with no tomato???

California Grill will do just about anything you ask

Flatbreads only have tomato/pizza sauce if specifically stated on the menu.

The Three (Four?) Cheese Flatbread at Cali is great as well as the Sicilian w/sopressatto. No tomato sauce. Who am I kidding ... all their flatbreads are amazing.

The Mama Melrose flatbread that my son had in January definitely had tomato sauce on it (with onions in the sauce..... he's still trying to recover from that experience).

I, however, thought it was excellent.

We always get the triple cheese flatbread - no tomato sauce only sun-dried tomatoes (easily picked off for those who want to do so) and we once got a roasted chicken flatbread (no tomato sauce on that one either) - it was good, but we prefer the triple cheese. They are very accomodating for requests.

I got the roasted chicken flatbread at California Grill and there were no tomatoes/sauce on it. Very yummy!
