I swore off diets. I don't like them. Then I saw this. I'm on day 4 of the anti-bloat part. That was okay. I do see an improvement. I need to read up to see if I can have coffee again. I really missed that. :upsidedow

I was looking for some ways to change our diet. The FB diet actually looks healthy and like something I can incorporate into the way we eat after it's done. That's what I've been looking for all along. I hope it works!

Have you done the FB diet? If so, did you have good results? What did you think of it overall?

TIA :)

I did a quick look at the web site and it looks pretty bogus. Giving up coffee is not a way to lose weight.
Also it refers "Targets unhealthy belly fat first!" That's impossible. You'll lose weight first from where your body normally stores it. There's is no way to target areas for weight loss.

I've been to a nutritionist and a doctor and the only way to permanently lose weight is to adapt your every day eating habits to more protein and less carbohydrates. Not necessarily an Atkins diet (no carbs at all) either. Exercise is an important permanent part of losing weight. Also, you should never go hungry when changing eating habits either. You may need to eat different snacks and smaller portions at meals. I've found that I'm able to cut portion size at dinner from 25-50% without ending up hungry. I was eating too much in the first place.

Flat Belly, IMHO, is not a permanent solution. When it comes to weight loss if it sound too good to be true then it is.
Good luck.

I don't know. I'm seeing a difference in my belly. :)

Giving up coffee, I think was just to get started. Like I said, I need to read some more. I didn't mind too much because I do put a lot of creamer and sugar in it. I need to change that.

No diet is a permanent solution, other than maybe WW (which I do like their products). The reason I'm trying it is, I needed a jump start. And I think I can incorporate aspects of it into our daily eating habits. So it won't be so much of a diet, per se.

Thanks for your input.
