Just received the following mail

Venez quand vous voulez d'ici au 4 septembre, tous les jours de restriction sont levés pour les Passeports Annuels Découverte, Classic, Francilien et Fantasy !

They have taken off all the blackout days on the AP's from now to the 4th of September, which must imply that park numbers are down this month...wonder if the weather isn't playing a large part in that as it's grey and miserable again this morning and only 18° :confused3

We went today (normally the blackout day for August with a Fantasy) from 12.00 until 5.45

It was empty, comparatively speaking, for a Sunday anytime but especially in August.

Loads of seats in the c/s, very little queues again in the c/s around 1.00-1.30

Rides showing 5 - 35 minutes waiting in the main park when we looked at 12.15 and then again at 3.45 and just before leaving

Said 20minutes outside for POTC at 2.35, we were on the ride in 10

We went and saw Tarzan at 4.15 and there was a whole section sitting empty and the only full-ish ones were the middle two

Weather was very good and the only shame was that BTM was having technical difficulties during our FP window (3.05-3.35 got at just before 1.00) and we couldn't ride :sad2:

My mini TR :lmao::goodvibes

I really hope that it stays that way for my trip at the end of the month:thumbsup2

The last quarter they have had an increase in profits & more guest spending though

They have done this before - we were there last October - half term and our last day was a blackout day, we were going to go elsewhere but couldn't resist and decided we would pay for a day ticket, only to be told the blackout days were cancelled, pleasant surprise. When we got home we had got an email to say likewise.

They did it last month as well and nobody got a mail or anything and people complained so much

There are a lot of people with Dream AP's complaining as they don't see why they should be paying more for 365 days acces if everybody and especially the lowest AP's are getting their blackout days made available :rotfl2:

Apparently the last week and yesterday were choc a block, I know I saw more people Monday 9th end of day/early evening than I did today

I wish I'd logged onto this forum yesterday. We are staying offsite at the moment & went into Disney yesterday for a walk around the Village. My kids have fantasy APs so I thought we couuldn't go in. They didn't send me an email - I haven't had one from them in a few years, even though I have had an AP for the last 6 yrs.

We have always had Dream AP's so not particularly impressed that all the blackout days have been waived but I don't think I would bother complaining as the main reason we have them is for EMH.

We intend to do early morning, then return to the Marriott for a relax and then go back in the evening

I'd be going and see them to find out why as it's not normal. We get emails all the time but often are aware of the events as I look at the AP site every other day :)

I can totally understand the Dream AP holders being miffed and every year when people renew fewer and fewer are going for a Dream here in France. When you can go often EMH are not important and they are more concerned by the decrease of discounts and special privileges (ie the aperitif) and the unique 365 day visit possibilité that they are not getting with all this.

I think it will be interesting next year to see what the Dream + AP that is rumored to happen will bring :confused3
